Action mechanism

The Gel Peel, first phase of the treatment, is composed by a formulation of acids, in particular 2 Alpha-Hydroxyacids (Glycolic Acid and Lactic Acid) and 1 Beta-Hydroxy acid (Salicylic Acid). The former have an epidermolytic action, i.e. they facilitate the dissolution of the intercellular cement between the keratinocytes of both the stratum corneum and the epidermis. Salicylic acid, on the other hand, is a keratolytic, that is, it reduces keratin, the essential protein of the epidermis produced by keratinocytes.

The synergic action of the 3 acids determines the removal of dead skin cells, facilitating cell turnover. In addition, Gel Peel increases the bio-availability of the other active ingredients contained in the White Peel cream. The 3 active ingredients are conveyed by a particular transparent gel, which allows easy application and the correct adhesion on the skin surface.

The White Peel cream, thanks to its active ingredients, has a powerful antioxidant action, has a skin depigmentation action and facilitates cellular turnover with an epidermal bio-stimulation mechanismof the basal layer of the epidermis, simulating the Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF).
